St. Elizabeth Ann Seton has started an Employment Networking Group to help provide resources and support for those seeking employment. The goal is to help connect those looking for employment with those who might be able to provide job opportunities. The group provides a sharing format to discuss all aspects of employment search, networking and opportunities.
 

Mission Statement

With the assistance of the Seton Faith Community, the Employment Networking Group provides the prayers, support, tools and networking for the unemployed or under employed to help them find new careers.
 

Vision Statement

Prayer - asking God for guidance and help
Parish Members - providing prayer, compassion, the wisdom of our personal experience, and a living network of friends.
Resources - offering access to job search resources from materials, to websites to tools to examples
Networking - offering a variety of ways to network within the Seton Faith Community to help identify career opportunities

The following are some ways you can help our job searchers:
  • Do you know of a job opportunity or job opening at your employer
  • Are your willing to help introduce or network job searchers to people you know that my be hiring or could help in the hiring process
  • Would like to act as a coach for a job searcher
