Formation programs for littles (birth - K5)
We offer many opportunities for littles (ages 0-5) to grow in faith and friendship throughout the year. Join us for Bible Story Time for Toddlers once/month during the school year and special events such as the All Saints Day Party, Advent Story Time, Hands-On Holy Week, and Family Easter Event. Other opportunities that align with the Moms' Group schedule are Daytime Playgroup once/month, field trips to parks, open gym, the zoo, the library, etc., and lots of all-family events. Build your community from the littlest up this year!
Moms' Group
Don't be fooled, this group is for YOU! What started as a group for moms and their littles (ages 0-5) has taken on a life of its own and grown into an inclusive and supportive whole-family ministry that welcomes parents, grandparents, and other caregivers of kids ages 0-12. The Seton Moms' Group offers opportunities for the moms (and families) of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton community to socialize, connect with like-minded women (and parents/caregivers), share discussions about faith and everyday life, and uplift each other through prayer. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Level 1 (ages 3-6)
*New this year! We are thrilled to be able to offer our NEW Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) program for children in K3-K5 this year! This Montessori-based faith formation program will serve children ages 3-6 years old and will run congruently with our other child formation programs.
Because a CGS atrium (classroom) can only accommodate 10 children at a time, we will be offering three sessions each week. Your family can register for any one of these sessions:
Level 1 - Sunday 8:00–9:10 AM
Sunday morning CGS is offered from September through April, approximately twice per month. It mirrors the Disciple Formation calendar. This session of Level 1 (K3-K5) meets on Sunday mornings from 8:00 AM–9:10 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This is a child-only program.
Level 1 - Sunday 9:30–10:40 AM
Sunday morning CGS is offered from September through April, approximately twice per month. This session of Level 1 (K3–K5) meets on Sunday mornings from 9:30 AM–10:40 AM (during the Roots program) at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This is a child-only program; however, on the second Sunday of every month, parents are invited to attend the Adult Speaker Series at the same time in Seton Hall.
Level 1 - Monday 5:50–7:00 PM
Monday evening CGS is offered from September through April, approximately twice per month. This session of Level 1 (K3-K5) meets on Monday evenings from 5:50 PM–7:00 PM (during the Together program). The Together program is a family commitment; at least one parent is required to attend. Adult formation will be offered at all sessions. Together sessions meet from 5:30 PM–7:00 PM and include dinner.
